The Merry Bells has rooms available to hire for many occasions.
The Main Hall
This is a large room, with a capacity of 80 people seated (or 100 seated and standing), ideal for parties, meetings, exercise classes, and talks/lectures. There are 19 large foldable tables and about 80 chairs. It has wi-fi, built-in sound and projection system, an electric piano and a DIY bar area. If you wish to wish to hire a bouncy castle, please note that the ceiling is 3m high.
The Kitchen and Annex
This is an area separated from the main hall by folding doors. It can be hired alongside the Main Hall. The kitchen includes a cooker, fridge and water-heaters. A large amount of crockery and glasses is available to use, but you must bring your own saucepans and tea towels.
The annex is a small seating area with tables and chairs for around 15 people with a hatch directly to the kitchen.
It should be noted that the total no of people across the Main Hall, Annex and Kitchen must not exceed 80 seated or 100 seated/standing (ie hiring the Annex does not increase the capacity of your event)
The Meeting Room
This is ideal for smaller meetings, seating about 20 people comfortably with wi-fi. A small kitchen area is attached to the room for tea and coffee making.
Offices
As well as these rooms, The Merry Bells building houses the Library and the Parish Office and has other office spaces available to rent on a longer-term basis. Please get in touch if you are interested in renting an office space.
